15th April: It is with regret that the Trustees of Lighthouse Shelswell have decided that this year's holiday week will be cancelled.  There are many reasons for this decision, but the main one is that there are insufficient adult volunteers to provide a safe environment for children and volunteers.

The Trustees have agreed that the 2026 Lighthouse Shelswell holiday week will be cancelled due to a shortage of key volunteers, particularly a manager/co-ordinator.  

Our resources will be made available to Lighthouse Bicester or retained for use in future years.

 A number of options were considered, and we are committed to holding an event next year (we have agreed dates), with possible changes to the management structure and the scope of activities.
